Arnt these paper garlands fantastic, such a simple idea and so easy to make, but they look fantastic! Im heading on down to my local scrapbooking shop today to get some die cuts so I can make some of these super cute projects.

Spring Racing

Spring is in the air, and here in Melbourne that means the start of the race season, which everyone knows has nothing to do with horses. Its all about the fashion. Ive been thinking of doing fashion on the fields this year, looking at divine hats to go with pretty dresses o-o I do seem to be going for an autumn theme though.

I just got a new shipment of fabric for next winter. It is suitably divine. Poppy and mint it is peeps! Now i just have to get my hands on some woolen coating in the same colors.

In charlie bird news, madeit.com have decided very nicely have me as their designer in the spotlight! weiooo! so i tidied up my studio, sharpened my witty anecdotes and tried to not come across as a 21 year old idiot the interview can be read here.

oh gosh! it has been quiet around here hasnt it. Im currently in market hibernation, getting a new studio up and running. This of course involves alot of sorting and throwing old projects put. You know those ones, they sit in the corner leering at you, daring you to finish them off. Then in a fit of cleaning madness they usually get thrown out, thus winning their epic battle agains you to be completely usuless.

im currently trying to decide what kind of a space i would like, so here are some obviously completely unrealistic ideas.
